Curriculum

Sacred Heart Catholic Academy (SHCA) follows the curriculum guidelines embraced by the Diocese of Brooklyn. Sacred Heart Catholic Academy adheres to the Next Generation Learning Standards in English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Social Studies and Science determined by the New York State Department of Education and meets the standards of the School Office of the Diocese of Brooklyn.

  • Health and Physical Education: All K-8th grade students participate.

  • Altar Servers: Qualified students have an opportunity to actively participate in the Mass celebration, nurture their Faith, and give back to the Sacred Hearth Church parish community.
